I feel like I just had to rant to everyone who saw it thank you for coming to my Ted talk

the one coworker i wanted to be friends with hates everything about k-pop and meanwhile i was just there trying to pretend my world hasn’t been rocked as an austistic k-pop fan

I hate feeling like I’m taking it too personally and I’ll probably get over soon but it literally like jolted me so bad because I was going to tell her about the xdinary heroes concert I was going to right before

Hearing the same sort of thing years later coming from someone I want to be close with really bummed me out

I seriously don’t understand hating on something as low stakes as k-pop music or anything similar…

I know this type of person exists but this isn’t high school why are you unapologetically hating on music just because it’s in a different language?

I know I have a chip on my shoulder because I was bullied relentlessly for liking k-pop during high school a few years ago but we’re adults now???

I said “oh why is that an insult?” And she like raised her voice and exclaimed “I hate k-pop so much” and it made me so sad because yk k-pop is kind of my whole special interest.

Her reasoning? She’s as “country as it gets”. It really bummed me out I thought she was cooler than that.

I have to rant now because today at work I was talking to one of my coworkers who I get along with well; we’ve hung out outside of work to so I really wanted her to be my friend

She said that a different coworker insulted her by saying she looks like she listens to k-pop which caught me off guard+

got my xdinary heroes ticket now im just sitting waiting for August 5th-

only 125 more days…

trying to do the math to justify seeing xdinary heroes on tour but it’s not working

i can’t girl math my way out of the fact that i’m so broke…

looking back made me realize I didn’t actually get that many good videos but yk

i’ve been inactive because of my job why do i kind of miss being unemployed a bit

I’ve only been working at my new job for two weeks and it’s already killing my back please I’m only 21-

my tax return got rejected and I have to make a phone call to start fixing it
