23.10.2025 13:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ooohh you have a nice way with colors, yes.
23.10.2025 03:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Is it sacrilege to complete most of a game on your own, and then later use a guide to clean house towards 100%? It always made me feel like a resourceful hacker solving an ARG, finding secrets that required outside help. Starting a game with the strategy guide open is the only bad way imo.

15.09.2025 22:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0on the LX-threeee,
there's a game called pilot quest.
it taaakes advantage of-
the system's onboard clock.
Just thought you'd liiike to know
WHOA
12.09.2025 16:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I love Barbuta. Pro-tip: Pilot Quest is partially an idle game that runs in the bg while you play other ufo50 games so start it up early on!
10.09.2025 17:35 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Giving the player repeat opportunities to breathe in a setting and its systems makes for a more toyetic "playset" kind of experience. I agree, if I'm being rushed through an expensive environmental setpiece that I'm never going to see again, it makes me think "well a movie could have done that"
05.09.2025 19:29 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This convo I had highlights the difference in what "respect your time" means in games.
A lot of players want to trade time for in-game progress. It's purely transactional: 1 hour = 1 progress
But I want to feel like my actions matter i.e. what I do with time creates progress, not time itself.
Very disappointed to discover that they are not, in fact, "getting really into the Godot game engine"
05.09.2025 17:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Functionally: cool, works. Aesthetically... don't love, feels like an intrusion on a game's diegetic space
