My brother played me Songs Of Love: Live, and then Everclear was out - ‘91 I guess, and then I worked back from there.
To my shame I still currently haven’t any version of California (except home taped) - I’m waiting on that bloody reissue and boxset! 🤞🙏😂
That album was my introduction to Eitzel, so it’s a biggie for me.

I’ve seen him solo and with AMC a few times now (about 4 or 5 each?) - first time was ‘96 I think.
I’d just love to have been at that show (or an earlier AMC one maybe). 🙏

Kinda ready surprised that no one seems to be picking White Denim’s fantastic debut. That initial trio was blistering - with Steve Teribecki on bass and Josh Block on drums (two of my favourite musicians ever).

Incredible debut from the brilliant David Stith (mate of Sufjan’s and top artist too) - this may be quite high on my list, as it’s one of my favourite albums of all time (spoiler alert). The Heavy Ghost Appendices album is also a must.
