These house numbers have been waiting a year for installation. Guess a year must be my ‘ffs, I’ll do it myself’ threshold.

Pretty easy to figure out where some of my colour inspo comes from. I love this time of year, but really dislike the early sunsets. Cloverleaf Corriedale combed top, grown & processed in Victoria, hand dyed in Tasmania.

I did finish the hat and delivered it on Friday to its new owner - only took me 5 days to knit

Slim pickings this week as the studio has once again taken over my life. Cardigan still waiting to be blocked. I found 3 projects bags with one finished sock in them & o e bag with one mitt so I decided to cast on the second one.
Comfort knitting is all I can do atm.

Such an easy pattern repeat too.

I love it! I keep my stitch markers etc in a tin that has ‘f*ck off, I’m knitting’ written on it. Occasionally forget and pull it out inappropriately.

Recorded yesterday, Ep 1 of the Maxine Report, which was promised a few months back. Maxine is the name some new friends gave me when I was at the Ashford retreat last Nov because they said I wasn't a 'karen'. Downloaded the new-to-me editing software & spent a few hours learning how to use it.

Cardigan-on the final few rounds of the 2nd sleeve, baby blanket finished except for weaving in ends and some skeins waiting for shop photos and label.

Still one sleeve, button band and pockets to go.

Pattern is the classic cardigan by tin can knits. My tension is all over the place, there’s twisted stitches and mistakes everywhere. I love it

Today’s meet and greet is with Gravy. He is the middle man of the 3 Ami-goats (oh goddess, I made a goat pun). Of the 3, he is the most even tempered and laid back.

Now that I’ve seen this it’s so bloody obvious. Plus 20 million videos on the YouTube. Thanks again!

How do you do this Gaye? Do you pick up both sleeves and knit rows alternately? I’m assuming this is a top down sweater. Asking from sleeve island.
