When you have more Thursdays in a month than letters in the month, you spend that extra Thursday in a renovated Sonic that serves great beer and loves dogs.

What's better than a Thursday night run? Hanging out for some summertime patio fun with great people! Thanks to Cellar West for the hospitality and beer and to Cosmic Coyote for the naughty goodness that is their food.

There is a chance we will be running with a 7 in the first digit of the temperature on Thursday evening when we meet at Sanitas Brewing for our weekly run/jog/walk.

I have been told that we meet at 6 p.m. and head out at 6:10 for an out and back on the Coal Creek Trail.

I was in Greenwood Village a few weeks back and saw a sign that was clearly copied from Liquid Mechanics Brewing Company where we will be meeting this week for some aerobic conditioning and beverage consumption.

Hey everyone! I mentioned this to a few people last night, but we’ll be at Sanitas next week — and since we love the location, the running trails and (of course) the beer — but they don’t have food, I’ll have food available to order for those who are interested :)

[Back in a normal voice] If you're unfamiliar with Steve the Pirate, I highly recommend revisiting the 2004 instant classic "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story", which is my second-favorite sports movie, coming in just behind "Without Limits". What are your favorite sports movies, running or otherwise

The Temaki Tornado grub galleon’ll be docked and servin’ up vittles, and Odd13’s taps’ll be flowin’ with grog to wet our parched throats. Don’t miss it, ye scallywags!

We’ll be makin’ port at 6 bells sharp, snappin’ a few fine portraits o’ the crew, then shovin’ off down the trail.

After our voyage, we’ll be droppin’ anchor back at the brewery to swap tales, share treasures o’ memory, and enjoy good company.
