1 in 7 veterans suffer from PTSD. Veterans are 50% more likely to become unhoused. So how about instead of putting money into cop city and trying to militarize police against the people, we put $$ into addressing these more important issues? Just a thought 🤔

Yes, we are into mutual aid. We occasionally work with @atlsolfund.bsky.social on aid for the local unhoused community. We have lately been short on bodies and resources to lend more support in that area though.

Honestly I (the Wall of Vets GA Director) am only vaguely familiar with their forward facing disaster relief efforts. So due to an admitted lack of info on them other than that... 🤷

We have proudly stood with those in opposition to cop city. Our org. Director, as well as the Secretary of the board have spoken at council meetings opposing cop city. We are also helping with petition efforts AGAINST cop city.
