Preclinical Protein Signatures of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis: A Nested Case-Control Study Within Large Population-Based Cohorts This study shows that a combination of proteins measured in blood can be used to predict a future diagnosis of Crohn’s disease.

Will need time to dig in on this paper, but this looks like it could make pre-clinical intervention to prevent #IBD possible. @ownyourcrohns.bsky.social
