Looking over my pile of campaign mailers and this one from the Juanita Irizarry campaign was the most eye catching. I saw the cover first and I was very confused with the heart and question. 😅

Cannot emphasize enough that anti-ICE signs are everywhere in Minneapolis. Just part of the fabric of life. I walked 4 miles today, mostly on residential streets, and literally every single block had at least one ICE OUT (it similar) sign in a window or on a snowy lawn. Often 5-10 signs in a block.

My favorite activity today was my mom describing the Olympic sports she likes watching and me trying to figure out the name of it. Some of these winter sports are way out of my knowledge base.

I can maybe get it a little if Archer was already somewhat nice for pedestrians and cyclists and even drivers, but come on. I used to traverse this stretch daily, no one likes traveling Archer because it's pleasant.

Props to southwest siders and supporters for continuing to uplift their vision for safe streets.

Biggest takeaway to opposition is that people have wayyy too much attachment to their cars and to unsafe corridors. By no stretch of the imagination was Archer okay in its most recent iteration.
