What is a great, fantastically written book that really rattled you at the human level and why is it Tender is the Flesh

I put it on pasta as if it were parm lol and sprinkle on popcorn. But the other best use is sauces and soups. For sauces, I usually blend it with cashews, salt, and lemon and whatever flavor profile i'm going for (chipotle etc). I made a broccoli "cheese" soup with it that turned out great also.
