A drawing of Enver Gortash laying in his bed at the top of Wyrm’s Rock Fortress. His head is laying on his green cylinder pillow, under the green and yellow covers. His eyes are heavy-lidded, brows furrowed slightly as he sickly looks up towards the Dark Urge, who’s eyes we’re seeing through. Gortash is visibly feverish, his skin sweaty and tinted red from the heat. He’s in his silk night robe with dragon patterns all over, the cuffs of the sleeve golden as well as the lapel, while the rest is black. It’s subtle, but his night robe is slightly soaked at the front with water. Gortash’s right hand rests over the covers, showing off his gauntlet, his Netherstone glowing. Durge’s right hand is in frame holding his Bloodthirst dagger, the Netherstone glowing. At the tip of the dagger is a small chunk of meat of some kind, pressed to Gortash’s lips, Durge saying “Don’t worry about it. Eat.”

A short sketch comic of Durge and Gortash. The first panel shows Gortash carrying Durge in a bridal carry as the painter Adii (my Tav, though just a simple banite in this comic) paints them together in real time. The painter is also not actually a professional painter, but still the simple painting has a certain charm to it. Gortash smiles and sweats nervously as the painter says “Just hold that pose for another hour!”. Gortash can’t hold Durge for such a long time, nervously thinking to himself “Dear gods… Bane give me strength.” Gortash didn’t actually mean for Bane to take it literally, and is taken off guard when he gets transformed into his boss form. Bane says in Gortash’s mind “Your wish is granted,” and poof, Gortash is much larger and can now easily carry Durge. Durge looks pleasantly surprised, his veil falling off at the sudden change. Gortash thinks “this isn’t what I meant!!!” and looks slightly irked.

An extra panel to the main drawing, where Gortash is now hugging Durge, his arms around his waist tightly and his face pressed to his chest. Gortash says “It was all oh so worth it.. Welcome back, my dear! Was the afterlife kind to you?” Durge seemingly has no memories and groans in reply, all he wants to do is grab the nearby knife, but his body is weak and strange to pilot, so he can't quite get to it. Behind Durge at the right we see the upright table he was first strapped to, and to the left is a metal table with a metal tray with sharp scissors, a scalpel, and a knife surrounded by imaginary sparkles. Behind the two there are two big plan boards filled with Gortash’s notes on how to bring back Durge, some stray newspaper pages scattered across the floor which Gortash had ripped out.

I also made a little continuation panel after Gortash brings Durge back from the dead 🧐

A Halloween dedicated drawing of the Dark Urge and Gortash, where in this alternate universe Gortash is a mad scientist and Durge is his project, being brought back from the dead. The two are facing each other, Gortash’s expression being ecstatic as he smiles wide and bright up at Durge, his hands (in black rubber gloves) are quivering excitedly as he says “I’ve finally awoken you!!” and happily laughs at his success. Durge’s maw is parted as he looks forward blankly, his once bright red eyes are now a dull pink from being dead so long. Durge’s lower jaw has rotted enough that his scaled lip is now gone, his lower teeth and gums exposed. There are golden staples stitching up many sections of Durge’s body together, as well as two golden tubes inserted into his cranium leading down behind him to a small tank situated at his hip out of view, a strange gadget which is supplying him with something to keep him alive... Durge is wearing Gortash’s sleeveless top with the red flames, the clothing having dried blood on it. Durge says “I… Kill…” as if a simple zombie, spitting and drooling as he talks. Despite his first words being a threat, Gortash is still happy. The background is a simple black to red gradient.
