This is the valentino you see from the outside looking in.

But always portraying them that way prepares society for that and that only. Knowing that you could be assaulted by your himbo boyfriend/boss is proper representation.

Especially since in this season he continued to show microagressions and other signs that he was not to be trusted.

They are the boss who seems to play it by the book. They are the coworker whos sweet enough to drive you home. They are the himbo friend. That customer who always buys flowers for her grandma. The guy who volunteers at an animal shelter.

And yes, sometimes they are the creepy guy in an alley.

It just gives r*pists a cover. Because in real life, they arent nessisarily the creepy guy stalking you in the corner. They are the charming teacher, the nice next door neighbor, the uncle you only see on christmas with the good sense of humor and great presents.

Unfortunately, r*pists arent some alien species, they are flesh and blood humans with lives and people they love and things like that. Steriotyping them all as creepy guys in alleyways isnt going to be helpful to prevent future victims.

I have a question. If we make every r*pist in media a mustache twirling villian, how exactly does that help people identify them in real life?

Most people who experience r*pe have it done to them by someone they know. And in a lot of cases, those people are likeable.

Whos to say sinners cant also be summoned. Especially an overlord like rosie

Did anyone else notice husk did not drink a drop of liquor that whole episode? I wonder if he's silently trying to quit alongside Angel in solidarity. He might not be seeking redemption but it seems hes at least supporting angel.

Angel is starting to come into his own, it seems. Even when he was playing it up for the crowd it felt different. More like he was actually having fun with it rather than doing it to cope. I love that for him.

Did you know PTSD can cause hallucinations. I dont think like that, but it might be what the show is going for. Otherwise, I suppose she could be having other mental health symptoms show up in her traumatized state. We dont know much about other disorders that cause hallucinations.

We nearly broke down with her. The voice acting and animation were spot on. And gravity is practically the "poison" of this season in how much of a god damn bop it is.

I wonder if shes seeing adam cuz shes wearing his halo or if its hallucinatory.

We love lute now. We used to be pretty meh about her but this season has, in two episodes, fleshed out her character so much. Honestly just gravity did enough on its own to make us like her. And that breakdown was so vicerally real. Ty spindlehorse for doing a breakdown right.

In any case, i kinda hope it isnt "oh you did good thing and that completely makes up for bad thing" but i wont abandon the show if thats what happens. It would feel a bit dismissive and moralist and shit, but fuck if this isnt a great god damn show.

While those who go to IMP are not getting closure by requesting hits on the people. That is more likely misdirected attempts at finding that closure. Though i do find it hard to believe pentious was the first to do this. Perhaps they just didnt realize because they werent paying attention till now

Finishing the business seems to direct them to heaven possibly. And finishing it in the proper way. For example pentious coming to terms with what he saw doesnt suddenly make it ok he didnt say anything and does nothing to help the victims. However it gave him closure hed been seeking.

Also wanted to point out something about the new episodes. We now have a much better understanding of why souls go to heaven or hell, and it seems sinners function on the same logic as ghosts. If they have unfinished business, they go to hell.

To be very clear, we are s/a survivors. We are abuse survivors. We do experience hypersexuality. Weve never had an addiction, but have been effected by one and have the urges to start one when things get bad. We feel seen by Angel Dust. We feel seen by Husk. The depictions of abuse dont have to.../1

We shouldnt be removing information from the world. We should be adding to it, and correcting non-fictional accounts where there are inaccuracies.

TLDR. Fiction has an effect on the individual by introducing them to new ideas. Learning about new concepts is not going to cause a person to commit crimes or become a villian.

Lack of education about what makes a villian a villian is the true culprit here.
