The NRA buys off Congress. No action on guns.

Insurance companies buy off Congress. No action on health care.

The list goes on and on.

Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

Just remember...there was absolutely nothing normal about the United States Deputy Attorney General, Todd Blanche, meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell. Nothing. Not by protocol. Not by precedent. Not by any stretch of the imagination.

Imagine a world where politicians had the courage to put people over money.

FIFA is considering moving the World Cup games to Canada in response to escalating fascism in the US.

Good. They should. And the Olympics should follow suit.

Refuse to normalize or reward fascism.

The US is not a safe place to visit & we should all vote with our dollar and go elsewhere.

Trump threatening to punish teams unless they bring back names like “Redskins” and “Indians” isn’t tough talk...it’s a neon sign blinking, “I’m petty, racist, and obsessed with forcing the past down your throat.” This ain’t about tradition. It’s about domination. Pure and simple.

Some don’t care about the cruelty. Some don’t know and others celebrate it.

It’s emotionally paralyzing to watch.

Yet, we must persevere.

We are beginning to pay those costs now😔
