New follower, just saw this, but I thought I'd give my 2 cents on this: when I criticize someone, I genuinely want them to do better, and I try to be as polite as I can about it. When I'm on the receiving end, even if it's from an angry person, I do still try to factor it in and do better.

I'd just recommend not attending TwitchCon anymore. If it hurts their bottom line, they'll listen.
