We will now assess whether Shein complies with these rules and fulfils its responsibilities under the DSA.

Today, we have launched an investigation into Shein under the #DSA.
The investigation concerns the platformβs potentially addictive design features, the lack of transparency around its recommender systems, and the sale of illegal products, including child sexual abuse material.
The two risk assessments on connected & automated vehicles and on detection equipment used at borders and customs provide a comprehensive analysis of cybersecurity risks, their potential consequences, and the mitigation measures needed to address them.
