Nice thing about this resolution is your roughs can be REALLY rough since clean-up is far easier 😅

It's not that the iPad is faster it's just that the barrier of starting to work on something AFTER hours is much lower than if i'd have to sit at my computer all over again.

On desktop i work with Aseprite but i would like to work on my games from anywhere i am really and it‘s nice to get away from the computer every now and again. Toonsquid seems to have been the missing piece of the puzzle right under my nose.

Was kinda dissatified with every animation system that iPad Pixelart apps offer… once again Toonsquid to the rescue! It offers a nice selection of pixel art brushes incl. pixel perfect ones. I set up some more for painting and sketching with draw behind! Love this app ❤️

BTW, is there any way we could get keyboard shortcuts for skipping through animation frames in a small update? Perhaps period and comma? It's unfortunately kinda a necessity i find when doing animation :(

Making Low Res Graphics on my iPad is honestly so great and tons of fun. I think i can illustrate the whole game on it.

Came up with a simple 4 color palette for it as well.

Decided on a concept for one-month game. First screen mockup… inventory bar not done yet but yea…. Bit TOO rough in places perhaps but general vibe…
