I have been interested in astronomy for 60+ years and have seen many changes. The advent of computers and digital imaging have had a profound effect on the subject. I enjoy the challenge of astrophotography although by no means an expert.

It has been an ambition of mine to capture a complete shadow transit of a moon of Jupiter - in this case Io. Ganymede also makes a 'guest' appearance #astronomy #astrophotography
