There are all sorts of podcasters out there who review, comment on, and provide updates about Big Brother. Maybe we should lift up some of those folks from time to time. Particularly BIPOC podcasters like @therealitykingdom.bsky.social. I would love to see players from #bb27 do their show.

I am so over the HW jail bird pipeline. It is ruining what used to be a fun series. Somewhere we went more confrontation centered and maybe that is fun, but literally watching someone who has so much education go from being a professor to this is just so disappointing.

Vance is back in Indiana today, personally pressuring GOP lawmakers to ignore their conscience and enact an extreme gerrymandering plan. The fact that they have to send in the VP tells us something important and encouraging: political pressure against this plan is working, even in deep red places.

I swear I got hit with a nasty 1-2 punch this week. Over the weekend I came down with a cold and all the classic symptoms with that only then to get either a stomach bug or straight food poisoning on Tuesday. I'm still decongesting from the cold really so I'm also coughing mucus. 🙃

Also, btw, the crosswalk was originally paid for by Pride Houston and was in part a remembrance of a young man who was killed at this intersection crossing the street.

I am CERTAIN my neighborhood would be happy to front the cost of maintaining the crosswalk so no state/federal funds touch it.

I did a quick look and 2011 seems to be oldest. There is probably more somewhere. 2005 would be my Dallas days so I wish I did. That was a fun time for me
