Is anyone else having incredible angst about whether or not their labs will continue to be able to do science? I submit-revise-resubmit grants and hope upon hope something with get funded so I can continue to have a lab, but I get waves of panic and sadness over the current state of things. 😢🧬🔬

Yes, I think this is true for the majority of people out there. I feel the "haves" and "have-nots" divide grows a lot with each quarter. It may just be my vantage point, but I've noticed the past couple of years that developmental biology is not being funded compared with applications based work.
