Well, this was /not/ how John was expecting his day to go!

He'd been surprised enough that Simon had even consider taking him up on his offer of coffee this morning, let alone stay the entire day.

Meanwhile - Ghost in the mess hall at their table at dinner time, all alone, sound of silence playing in his head

His post nut clarity brings certain revelations about his feelings for his sergeants (and lieutenant, while he's at it) which he can't deny any longer, though! However, seeing as Gaz and Soap are evidently together, he uses that fact as an excuse to bury that revelation right back down deep himself.

Gaz calls him a bloody dirty creep for the dirty talk, but it's one of the best sex they ever had.

Price has pretty much the exact same fantasy, lmao. He beelines to his room and has possibly the fastest and most pathetic wank of his life. Twice.

It's not hard to come up with the fantasy. It's Soap's own, his own attraction to Price may be a secret to Gaz, but it's very much on the same level as he knows Gaz's is.

while caressing his fingers up Gaz's arm, the base of his neck, down his chest, flicking a nipple, all the way down to getting his own hand in Soap's hair, too, dictating the rhytm for the both of them. Slowing down when they'd start to get fast, pushing Soap's head all the way up until he chokes,

If he closed the door, leaned against it and told them to continue where they left off while he just watched. If he walked up to them and whispered in Gaz's ear how good he looked, making Soap kneel for him, feeding his cock to him,

When Price leaves, Soap and Gaz have a shared couple of seconds of absolute dismay, followed by histerical laughter. Soap got inspired, though. Gaz's big fat crush on their Captain is common knowledge between them, and he quickly brings the mood back by talking about what if Price stayed.

What he comes up with is asking Gaz about his mother's health and wishing he'll have nice weather on his upcoming leave.
(This will haunt him for a long time. The image of his sergeants and the small talk both, for very different reasons.)

Price has the absolutely wrong logic of, "if I excuse myself and leave, it’ll make things worse, so why don't I act like I didn't see anything and get on with what I came here for", except he absolutely doesn’t know what he went there for and scrambles in his mind for something to say.

Soap takes longer to get himself together and by the time he does, Gaz is shielding him from Price for fuck knows what reason, but Soap, unable to look his Captain in the eye right now, goes with it and presses himself against Gaz's back.

The attempt of recovery on all their parts is comical.

Gaz tries to hide Soap behind his body on reflex. Maybe Price didn't see who he's with, so he alone can take the fall and keep Soap out of the fallout that will definitely come.

(In his defence, he did knock. The boys were just so preoccupied neither of them heard it, and Price, getting no answer, tried the knob just in case - maybe Kyle has his earphones in or something.)
