I have been reading the Fate Stay Night visual novel

this will increase my ability to complain about Fate Stay Night

The LLMephant in the room Fluxer was largely built before LLMs became a normal part of day-to-day development. I do use them now, but in a limited way: as a rubber duck and for mechanical implementation work when I already have a detailed spec. I treat the code it outputs like I would any external contribution. No LLM designed the system, wrote the specs, or made architectural decisions. That was all me. I only use LLMs when I already know the platform well enough to review the result properly. Ultimately, you'll have to take my word for it that I'm trying to handle this responsibly. Fluxer is a large, complicated codebase because the project itself is large and complicated. LLMs still aren't capable of autonomously producing anything like what Fluxer is today.

I'm not invested either way in this but I figure people might care about this bit about fluxer

I see so many posts from parents, step parents, and teachers about how terrible their kids are, and how it's not their responsibility to take care of them

htc is literally competing with their own product, but an older model, and one that I got because my friend saved it from the dumpster at AMD after 9 years of use

A thought given recent stuff

so, obviously not a solution to private conversations and stuff, but what if we just moved back to irc for more open text conversations

and we could use something fully encrypted and decentralized like Jami for private/group chat/voice chat

You cannot solve these problems with another centralized corporate run service, they will eventually also give to the same pressures

and you can't solve these problems by continuing to use discord but now you're mad about it, which seems to be the direction most people are heading
