They worked to radically stop any protests that aimed to upset the status quo, and have also spent the last decade or more talking down to protestors as well. It’s a shame

As soon as you delegate a skill to AI, you condemn future you from EVER being able to learn that skill, all because you’re lazy or afraid at being bad at something. Sad and pathetic.
I support this!

They have always been the party of censorship. They never hated "cancel culture" they hated being held to account. They still know they aren't right. But they need to feel like they are. So they are going to ruin lives and kill the future until they feel better about themselves... Or we stop them.

You may go a little crazy pretending it isn't.
That irritation will build.
A scene from the night time streets of Shimbashi, Tokyo, in a typhoon back in 2008. Looking due west in this shot, into a road that is always busy - as it is here - feeding people from many offices in Toranomon into the bars and eateries of Shimbashi. A red traffic light over the road reflects brightly on the wet road.
A triptych of photographs made back in 2010 in Tokyo’s Akihabara district, underneath a favourite underpass of mine. I like it because of how the light comes in from top and sides. And the angle of the pavement and road. Here we see, from the top: Three people walking left to right, each carrying an umbrella. The person at the front has a pink umbrella. Behind them is a person carrying a blue one. They’re walking along a section of raised pathway, with a railing running along. In the second image, my angle has changed and we see the road and pavement heading down under the railway more clearly. A yellow taxi drives from left to right, blurred by the 1/6th second exposure. As are the pedestrians, of which there are four. Each blurred slightly by the slow exposure. The last image is another from the side-on angle in the first. A single pedestrian walks left to right carrying umbrella. In the foreground the red light of a passing car is blurred by the long exposure.
Good morning from a rainy, squally Tokyo.
Typhoon15 is passing through. But other parts of the country have had a lot worse rainfall and flooding than we'll likely see here. My thoughts with them.
So, if you're out and about in Japan today, stay safe and stay as dry as possible.
Luv&peace.

I’m admittedly very hesitant about anytime anyone copies the Akira poster, but when Otomo himself draws it🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
