Day 2 posting photos of my favorite Christmas ornaments.

Today is this....thing. Me. The "me" thing. I always adored this one as kid, because it reminded me of myself for some reason. Make of that what you will.

The Ugly Fish is the true embodiment of Christmas joy. Bask in it's glory.

This fish was the bane of my aunt's existence, but the absolute focal point of my childhood Christmas dreams.

I rescued the fish permanently when I moved out. It's now displayed in the most outward, prominent branch on my tree. It appears behind me in all my work video calls.

When I was given the task of decorating the tree, I fell in love. Nothing could compare to the ugly fish. My aunt would place it on the back of the tree, but I'd move it to the front. If it disappeared one year, I'd clock that shit immediately and ask for it.

I'm pretty sure this was acquired somewhere in the last 1950s or the early 1960s. My aunt always hated the fish, but my grandmother insisted on keeping it, along with this old WWII plane that was made of a similar plastic and painted with a similar gray paint.

In the spirit of festiveness, I'm going to post photos of my favorite Christmas ornaments, starting with my #1. It's weird, it's older than me, and it's probably coated in lead paint. I present to you...

I really thought I was becoming a casual gamer with these numbers, and then I saw that I'm still insanely far over the Steam median in like every category.

Basically, I touched slightly MORE grass this year.
