In Brum to see poet Cliff Yates: went up to Black Sabbath Bridge (about which Cliff has written a poem). Unlike the smiling roaring fans I saw later on the TV news, we passed sombre, respectful, emotionally-exhausted mourners, some queueing to sign the book of condolences. Very moving.
