Just watched Shadow Dancer (2012) with Clive Owen and
Andrea Riseborough. Highly recommend it.
This was a great read. It reminded me of people who feel they unload on the page and that writing is therapeutic or healing. I am happy for them, but for me it's the opposite. Writing and rewriting is just a way to keep getting upset over the same things. Reliving rather than relieving.

Surely the headline has a copy error and was meant to be read "take him OUT back".

Similar experiences have taught me that genre-blending often works in subtractive ways. It seems to me, for example, that horror-scifi fans are not the addition of scifi plus horror fans. Not even close. Weird horror- hard scifi? Forget it. Like finding a little bit of poop in a nice mofongo.
10.12.2024 19:34 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This reminded me that I hadn't ordered the 120 murders anthology. I just did. Paying baby daycare is kicking my ass, but luckily a good amount of people are willing to pay me for adding mixed fractions, converting molarity into moles, and calculating percentages. Am reading Shriek of the Week now.
