I have ordered a new monitor and PC. Not just random parts from AliExpress but logical well reviewed parts for a system that can apparently run games at ultra at 1440p and a ips display that is apparently not terrible.

I'm also in the throws of trying to convince myself to buy a new PC and monitor and I can't pull the trigger.

I have the money sitting aside for it but I fall into the "well if I spent $100 more I could have X feature" and then don't spent anything cause it seems too decadent

I have this dell 32 inch monitor at work and it has power delivery for my laptop and a KVM switch so I can have my desktop plugged in and use the same keyboard and mouse and I personally think it's the coolest piece of tech Ive ever used.

Something about my brain makes me circle things over and over again if I don't get the ideas outside my brain but once it's out and coherent everything is so much easier and nicer.

I hate how useful I find chatgpt for just making me more coherent when I developing ideas.

I just throw paragraphs of badly written shit at it and it comes back with semi coherence. With that semi coherence I can turn it into actual coherent ideas that I can then form into tasks I can do.

I decided to try and improve my Dev setup by using the SSH feature in studio code to connect to my Ubuntu machine so I had native Docker support instead of using wsl and Docker desktop.

It took two hours of fucking around to get SSH public keys to work.

Same thing happened to me bud. It took a while for it to make me feel something. Even after I painted and fixed stuff it still felt like nothing. Then one day it clicked that it was safe and where I return and feel good and happy.
It will come, sometimes the stresses of this stuff overwhelms

I passed my probation at work so now I am here to stay. the probation report was quite nice except for

The issue with just a motor is that bins have higher centres of mass and can get tippy on even a tiny slope or rough terrain. In certain cases though it could work without much issue. Not on my stupid front yard though.

I agree. And even this simplistic system is rather complicated in its scope.

It's usually all down to bed level. A few mm in any direction off is all you need. It's why the mesh leveling the prusa printers use is so good.
