Haven't we learned there are such things as pre-emptive pardons?

I feel the same here in the USA.

He obviously believes a country dumb enough to elect him is dumb enough to believe anything he says.

I'm just glad I'm retired, but it's still a pita sometimes.

I don't think they'll chance waiting for another term.

They managed to get that monstrous bill through in July despite the filibuster by putting it all in a reconciliation bill. It will take months before most realize how bad it is.

She's nuts. He never forgives. (She doesn't have THAT kind of money.) That didn't take long, though, did it? lol

Since it was his job to guard the border, so to speak, I suppose he's admitting here he failed miserably. Just how did they get past these tough guys?

Better to be investigated by GAO. He can't fire them, can he?

100 yrs of this sh*t is more than enough.

He'll be in his 80's by then and if they don't succeed in keeping him in office (which I doubt will even be a possibility by then), they're really up sh*t creek. Most are probably too dumb to think about that.

They both come across as stupid, ffs. Like this is a horrible win-win for Dems bc the republicans are on the wrong side of both issues and they're in control. But, damn, let's call it a Dem 'failure' to force republicans to do the right thing. My gawd.

Every single republican is covered in the same slime as this guy who is kissing up to a despicable murderer for his personal financial gain. He thinks people admire him for his wealth when every time he does this he sinks lower in public opinion of decent people.

Epstein’s emails are the end of America as they ruined it If the evil banality of the world's most powerful people exposed in the Epstein emails doesn't cause a revolution, nothing will.

Historians can eventually use a LOT of these court documents as source material when covering this era. I'm grateful for those judges who have not lost their minds.

I, as one of his millions of employers, surely do wish there was a way to fire him aside from waiting 4 years for the next general election. Imagine what he'll look like by then much less the damage he'll do in the meantime.

That's true for many. But there are lots of issues that don't necessarily involve additional taxes and may, in fact, save some people money or not involve finances directly at all.

They claim to be going for the 'worst of the worst' - famously known for hanging out at church doing yard work & such. What a ridiculous regime.

I suppose the question is how what/how much of America is he selling to get his deal from the Prince?

That may often be true, but there are some politicians who are no longer on the scene & I don't think anyone thinks more highly of them now - like Matt Gaetz.
I think the media had a LOT to do with public opinion of HRC. Favorable coverage as SoS, smears as candidate.

There is a gap between *what* people want and *who* they're willing to vote for. In my red state, ballot initiatives for more progressive policies pass, but then the fight comes from the 'red' dominated state legislature who tries to overturn the results. Some just can't vote for Dems bc of pol ID.

Krisi Noem needs to be summoned to Congress to explain just what the hell they're doing with this kind of thing. Maybe keep her there for a week without lawyers.

It's not the players' fault if some gambler lost money UNLESS they cheated to get rich off of the system of gambling. The gambler is trying to pass off responsibility for their own poor judgement in betting more than 'entertainment' money.
