Every Sunday from 3-4pm, we serve free food for all, across from Moore Square in downtown Raleigh. This Sunday (2/16) we had a mix of rice, roasted chicken, green beans, lentils and desserts like rice pudding and cupcakes.

Every Sunday from 3-5pm, we serve free food for all, across from Moore Square in downtown Raleigh. Last Sunday (12/8) we had a taco night. We had yellow rice, shredded chicken, ground beef, a variety of toppings, and some desserts.

Raleigh law 13-3013 says it’s illegal for any person to use the bathroom in public in the city. Why is there no law requiring high quality public restrooms so no one has to relieve themselves in public/outside? Raleigh law 9-2025 says that as long as there's a twenty-four-hour emergency homeless shelter, it's illegal to camp or sleep overnight at any city park or street. Are there laws requiring high quality, safe and adequate rooming availability? What if the shelter has no beds/room or isn’t safe? Where are people supposed to sleep then? Why are there so many laws criminalizing homelessness but no laws preventing people from becoming homeless? (protecting people from evictions, requiring there be enough housing/shelters to keep folks off the streets.)

We've been in downtown Raleigh the last two Sundays serving free food for all. We're across from Moore Square every Sunday at 3pm serving food and drinks, no questions asked, at no cost to those we serve!
This week our menu included: turkey chili, pollo guisado, red beans, & rice!

These past two Sundays (4/21 & 4/28) we served free food for all, no questions asked, at no cost to the those we serve. Our menu included Salad, Baked breaded chicken breast, Rice, Veggie Curry, and drinks! We're across from Moore Square in Raleigh every Sunday at 3pm, see you next week!

Funds are still needed as we continue our work providing meals to our community. Our work distributing meals is but one facet of our organizing. We understand that everything from hunger, homelessness, capitalism, zionism, and imperialism are interconnected. Donate and share!

To the dismay of developers and detractors we continue to gather the city’s hungry workers and unemployed for a weekly meal, where the crises of capitalism can’t be hidden from the public.
