writing out of pocket background dialogue is infinitely more entertaining than making a computer do it

the worst most cheesiest dub you can think of is better than ai slop and i will not budge on that

i will always endlessly appreciate cheesy late 90s/early 2000s dubs over this fucking ai slop we're getting now

like that one anime dub that was very clearly recorded in north carolina with the north carolinian cadence emerging every once in a while

persona 2 eternal punishment without it's late 90s anime dub is like an angel without its wings

the amount of time it takes to fix the mistakes that the paint bucket makes i'm like "i could have just colored this all in manually in half the time what are we doing here" 😭

"coloring is so easy just use the paint bucket tool" as someone who intentionally has loose line work that often does not connect in order to create the illusion of depth, light, and shadow, and who uses a lot of hatching, i have a blood vendetta against the paint bucket tool

there's been a longstanding meme in art circles like "i like my sketch better than the line art/i hate line art" etc etc

but i guess i'm just built different because the design and line art portion is the easiest part for me. it's color where i start feeling like i'm playing around with mud
