How then can churches teach that it is good for Jesus followers to go to war and kill their enemies?
The church must be an upside down peace kingdom on earth.
We fight evil with goodness (Rom 12) β€οΈ
In Luke 15 Jesus shows us that the Father isn't concerned about judging why we lost our way...
He just wants to find us and to celebrate our reunion with all his friends! πΎπ
We really need to lean into to truths about Jesus in this moment:
1. He is the Prince of Peace π
2. He has all authority in heaven and on earth and he is the King of kings π
In him alone we rest π
God as we see him in Jesus calls us friends not servants...
What a radically dignifying relationship between the Maker and his workmanship π€―
Romantic movie 'flings' point to Christ.
As crinch as it is we all love drama and happy endings.
Because we long for our dramatic lives to also have hope of a ride into the sunset with the people and the God we love...
The path of Jesus is a path of non violence. The end. π

We need He who is the Colour of the World:

Prayer is activism against the consumer economy. πΊπ
In my prayer time I insist on not being anyones product, and I reclaim my value from the place where it matters the most! βοΈπ₯

In Luke 24 the disciples doesn't recognize Jesus at first. πΆβπ«οΈ
They don't even see its him when he preaches a sermon about himself in all of the Scriptures. ππ
But when they break bread and wine together they SEE him as he is. The risen Lord. π₯π·π
Makes you think doesn't it? π€
Today we must remember that the true leader of the world is enthroned by his Fathers right hand.π€πͺ
He is Lord of lords
He is King of kings π
He came not to be served but to serve the weak.
He does not reach out for power
He gives up all his power on the cross.
He is Jesus Christ - Our Lord π₯

We begin from worship.
We begin with rest
We live from grace βοΈ
Jesus said: My father is always working. π¨
So when you wake up tomorrow...
You are already in the middle of Gods working.
As a danish psalm puts it:
"It [plants, fields, fruits] grows while we are sleeping" π±π΄
More than ever we need to unplug ourselves from the digital world regularly, even several times daily...
Forget - just for a moment - about wars, Elon Musks, Donald Trumps, Greenland trade deals and so on...
And just be a listening non-anxious presence where you are with the people you love β€οΈπ
Jesus is the tree of life and we are the branches. π³πΏ
Separated from him we can do nothing. π
Branches don't try harder and try to squeeze more energi in making fruit. π
They produce fruit through resting in and connection with the tree. π³
As should you. Rest in him and watch him work ππ¬π
