10/10 - Small Town Folktale Horror?
✅The right cast of actors to play offputting roles.
✅A plot that does a complete 180 twist at the end of the 2nd act.
✅Set design is on point for telling an almost fairytale-esque story.

10/10 - Psychological/Trauma Horror
✅Small cast of wonderful actors.
✅A plot that ramps up to intense heights and lets you figure out what's really happening as you go.
✅Great example of doing a lot with a smaller budget and clever practical effects.

6.5/10 - Creature Feature?
✅Great actors playing believable characters.
❌Interesting story elements sort of thrown together without a lot of connective tissue; ends up feeling a lot like a much less-scary "Babadook" plot.
✅Competent creature effects.

10/10 - Body Horror/Psychological Horror/Gore Horror blend.
✅Perfectly blends many horror genres together in a thrilling story.
✅Phenomenal acting by all parties.
✅Camera work, lighting, direction are all as impressive as makeup and effects.

✅VIsual effects and makeup are simple and very effective.
✅A simple story that is easy to follow and doesn't require a lot of explanation.
✅Creepy AF soundtrack.
