Every damn bastard is trying to sell you something, it’s like being constantly stuck in some Middle Eastern market, having rugs and pipes and tourist tat pushed in your face. Just waiting for the digital equivalent of small boys begging and picking pockets, to be built into sites as standard.

Time to look for a new online pharmacy I think. The one I use changed their website about a year ago, making it far more difficult to find any relevant information.

Now, when you eventually manage to log in, it immediately dumps you into some sort of questionnaire trying to flog GLP1 injections.

I hope AM isn’t going to caterwaul all night on the chair. He’s taken a position today… perhaps believing if he sticks around more chicken will be forthcoming. I would let him in, but then he’s in and out constantly and a variety of other cats come in during the night, while he’s roving around.

Hope I sleep tonight. Been so tired all day, for no real reason, I think. Didn’t keep checking my bloods, I don’t have the spare test strips, so maybe my glucose has been high.

Oh well, maybe a result of the spring cleaning, maybe I’ll feel better tomorrow. I may fry some chicken… I’ll see.

Sainsbury’s been. Driver pleasant but either shell shocked, hungover, or simple minded.

Seemed totally under equipped with no scanner, sack truck, or training.

My cheese was open to the elements, when I pointed this out, he just gave a vague smile. English speaking, just something unconnected.

We have Hitchcock’s “The Birds”, and apocryphal stories of disappointed and hungry monkeys attacking their regular feeders… nothing about cats that I’m aware of… perhaps that’s too close to home.

I’ve got a queue of customers waiting for breakfast. Cats may be patient hunters, that doesn’t extend to their staff though. Gotti would carry on like a wall street tyrant.

That sounds good. Growing up we had a cat with a skin complaint. The vet told my mother to give her lambs liver, a few times a week, and that kept it under control.

All workings done. Boiling up kitty dinner, tired now. Was going to have a root through the spice drawer, but I don’t think so now. I’ll do it when I make up some masala mixes. Maybe next week.

Hopefully I’ll recover to stir risotto later.

Listening to Harry Bosch while I clean, descaling Marvin while I clean the counters. Big coffee stains under Marvin. Always like that. Need to put a bar drip-towel under it again. I dunno why I took it out.

Breakfast first, omelette and toast. Then cleaning, recycling, shower, cooking cat chicken and getting ready for risotto this evening.

Oh, yes, need to do the final touches to tomorrow’s Sainsbury’s order.

Still getting these damn muscle spasms down my l/h side. Must be sleeping position.

Anyway, quite a lot to do today, can’t worry about lack of sleep.

Quite a bit of kitchen spring cleaning to do again. I’d like to get this all done this week so that I can have a go at the vinyl flooring next week. That usually puts me flat on my back for 2 or 3 days afterwards.

Of course, they are in a position that they don’t have to constantly justify their pain to all and sundry, and their buddies backing them up, not accusing them of drug seeking…. So it’s a completely different point of view.

Morning. Been awake since 2:30 trying to get to sleep but lots of pain. This is what I was concerned about with the 8hr nighttime fast. All the people at Novo Nordisk, and asst. medics & pharmacists must sleep perfectly all night and have no chronic pain. Perhaps they can “jiggle” their meds a bit.

May have overdone the chillies in my stir fry. Clearing out the old sinuses though!

If I use up the cat food tonight, then I’ll boil a small chicken breast tomorrow for them (or cut a big one in half with the Chinese chop knife).

If I remember keep and strain the chicken broth, I can use it in the mushroom risotto I’ve planned for tomorrow night. That should be good, huh?

I’m not nearly as allergic to Milo as I am to AM. They have about the same length and density of coat, so it’s just down to dander, genetics. Lots of conflicting info on the net about cat allergy, as there is about all allergies.

Too achy to do more spring cleaning today, also only had about 4 1/2 hrs sleep last night. I’ll take it easy this afternoon. No rush really, but breaks in jobs can be the kiss of death sometimes.

The BBC likes to trot out a university professor in Tehran, a hard line Islamic Republic mouthpiece. I wonder each time I hear him, if he worries that he will be one of the first to the wall when the revolution comes?

Want to proceed with the kitchen cleaning, but I’m quite achy. I’ll give it a while and see if it improves.

Mac and cheese for breakfast, I’m planning a stir fry this evening. So that’s all easy.
