Rough sketches of my oc. My oc is a robot cat with a usb for a tail. They go by They/Them and don’t have and are asexual (as they don’t have a concept of pleasure and also don’t seek it). They are a robot built to build other robots, and primarily specialises in the programming side of the process. They lived their life completely normally for a robot, never leaving their workplace and only powering on when they had a job to do. One day, they were tasked with programming a robot far beyond what they were used to. This robot required lots of code that they were not familiar with. Noticing that this code wasn’t implemented into them, they decided to upgrade themselves. Upon doing this, they were granted free will and emotion, but because of their preexisting firmware, they couldn’t utilise all their new emotions correctly. After completing the robot they were tasked to program, they snuck out of their quarters in the factory they worked at, and at night when all the other robots were powered down, they implemented this new code into all of them, allowing them to now have free will too. All the robots were now imbued with the will to escape their confinement and rebel against humans, except for ネコ。N (pronounced Neck-on), a name they gave themself because of the employee coat they were wearing. As all the other robots went out to the streets outside, ネコ。N decided to go their own path to live a quiet and carefree life. ネコ。N now lives as a freelance programmer and hacktivist that strives to provide all robots the right to their own free will.

ネコ。N wears a dark grey jacket with desaturated teal highlights on the shoulders, bottom rim and on the zipper. Also on the zipper is one huge zip. At the bottom of the zipper is a large metal plate where the zip stops. On the back of the jacket is the kanji 猫 (Neko), which means cat. The kanji is coloured white with light grey outlines. Their sleeves are long and slightly cover their hands. On both sleeves are a singular teal button. They wear large baggy trousers that are the same desaturated teal colour with two dark grey patches on the knees and on the butt. Their shoes are white and red with metal plates on the back. ネコ。N has stark white synthetic skin made out of plastic. They have a spherical head with two large cone-shaped ears sticking out of the top. They have two flat, circular plates at the side of their head with indents for their ears, which are domes that slightly stick out of the indents and also red. On the back of their head is a small, rectangular metal vent. Their eyes are red and ovular. They have a small mouth and a nose which is only visible by the shadow above it where their face caves in slightly. ネコ。N also has a much larger metal vent on the backside of their torso. Their closing points on their arms and legs have visible robotic joins. They also have a tail made of a single optic fibre and a usb head at the top. It is translucent.

Two edits of the spider-like BOX Security boss. The first has a skull from the ending of MM7 instead of the original head, with DR on one leg and W on the other. The second image has the front legs destroyed and the pod visible, Wily replacing the original brain. Much smaller than his usual machines, but the idea of him using a smaller, speedier machine seems interesting to me.
