This is an all or nothing affair. You give them an inch and they will 100% take a mile. They dont want to pay people and will do anything to not do it. If we let this small thing go, then more games companies will keep doing it (small ai bits here and there) til every game is stuffed with ai slop.

The company shouldn't even be allowed to ask that of a voice actor. If they want constant additional voice lines, then keep paying the voices actors to record new lines, its a symbiotic relationship rather than parasitic one. If they can't do that, then just don't have that feature. Its not hard.

People seem to think Arc Raiders use of Ai voices is ok because the voice actors signed contracts giving the ok for it. But, do you really think they would have been hired otherwise? Of course not. Its "sign away your rights or we'll get someone else to do it." Its just coercion by a different name.
