I'm not one to redeem Ubisoft or excuse their shortcomings. fuck them, really. but hating on the people least responsible for the game's failures is just wrong.

one commenter even said, 'I used to be a dev at Ubisoft and it's really cool to see how far the game has come thanks to modders!' and people are seriously hating on him, saying shit like 'you're the reason this game sucked!' or 'this should've been in the game in the first place!'

there are now two types of people in the comments.

the majority is: 'wtf, I'm so mad, Ubisoft is shit and the devs suck, why did they cut so much!!1!' which I get the core sentiment of, sure.

so I get this video recommended to me of someone showcasing a Watch Dogs mod. a lot of the features were restored from original game data that was cut from the final release. sad, yes, but yay for the modders!
