Can’t say I know much about the powers of the Irish president but it’s interesting that this woman ran as a left-wing independent, won 63% of the vote, was lauded by her opponent, and is succeeding the man who took his adorable dogs everywhere. Seems a proper country.

The importance of this ASEAN trip can’t be overstated.

I agree that we wish Canada could just cut Amazon off at the knees bc we hate the CEO. It’s tricky though bc Amazon employs and awful lot of people (41,000 in 23) as well as third party delivery people work there. Yes they treat their people badly but they still need those jobs.
