I wished someone would. My thinking is that the Texas GOP when they run governors just put their energy and money behind whomever is incumbent governor. Though I would also suspect dirty tactics is stopping a GOP primary for governor

The state is gerrymandered so much. They were saying that in polling places the lines to vote for Democrats are were 3+ hours long while lines to vote Republican were only about 10-15 minutes long.

I should had switched to Linux months ago. Downloaded @bazzite.gg onto my AMD gaming Rig, already getting better performance. Almost 400 Mbps downloads on Steam when I use to get only 50-60 Mbps on Windows. Windows was the bloat holding my PC back.

And Redfield is (by his own admission) a logistics officer. He knows systems, schedules, protocols. He doesn’t necessarily know how to command people. More or less, everything he does from my perspective is just survival. Making it to tomorrow in an obviously hostile region.

One of the things I’ve noticed about @thesojourn.bsky.social S1E6 is the parallels I drew between it and Battlestar Galactica’s S2E10. Though I will say that Redfield is not as evil a character as Admiral Cain. Redfield was trying to do his job the best way he could with what he had.
