They ignored the lore that was established and set it in an alternate universe which they could have done better with that freedom.

Makee and Chief having a romantic relationship. Which again ignores the fact that Halo established that the Augmentation Process killed Chief's Sex Drive.

My Halo Issues:

Chief takes off his helmet. I know was to give players agency in the game to imagine him looking like whatever they want but if The Mandolorian could do amazing with not taking off the helmet and still having amazing acting, so could Halo.
