A group of West Duluth residents are holding a neighborhood sign holding protest against ICE. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. Feel free to make and bring your own sign, though the organizer will have some extra signs on hand as well.

About three dozen folks braved the blustery wind to turn out for the National Impeach Trump Day protest in downtown Duluth. The event was organized by Duluth 50501 and was part of a national day of action.

A group of neighbors in West Duluth are holding another protest today. The theme is ICE Out and Love Your Neighbor. Bring a sign and enjoy the balmy weather!

Alice Valentine is a queer trans activist who was arrested on Jan. 12 while observing an ICE raid on Somali owned businesses at a mall in St. Cloud. She and her partner were thrown to the ground and maced, and are now facing bogus charges.

Anti Imperialist Action is holding an anti-war protest today at 4pm at the Duluth Federal Building. It is calling for an end to the threats of war against Iran and Venezuela. We encourage everyone who can to turn out today and raise your voice against imperialist bullying!

Thank you to everyone who turned out today for our Anti-ICE Festival in Superior! 200 folks attended. In addition to holding signs, we distributed whistle kits, fliers for upcoming events, the petition against the Douglas County jail being used by ICE, plus hot chocolate!

Students from Harbor City organized an emergency protest against ICE this afternoon in downtown Duluth. There was also an indoor vigil at Sacred Heart, and tonight folks are urged to step outside at 7pm with a candle.

We are heartbroken and outraged to learn of the murder of our union sibling, Alex Pretti, by federal agents today in Minneapolis.
