Also try to take advantage of sneaking and positioning pre-combat. You can do a lot of free damage with a surprise attack

I got a lot better at the game when I stopped using healing as an action. The action economy is super important, and in the grand scheme, wasting a spell slot and a turn to heal instead of dealing damage or controlling an enemy can be a downfall

There’s actually no provision in the constitution that precludes the president from counting people with one potato two potato three potato four, so it’s hard to see why Democrats are against Trump ordering a new census.

Losing weight, broadly, is very easy. It’s just a long, long process, and body-recomp takes even longer. The line from skinny to muscular is much more straightforward.

Maybe it’s because I come from the other end of the spectrum - the obese to thin side. Each have their own challenges, but the ancillary challenges that overweight people face (loose skin chief among them) make for a steeper uphill battle.

95% of the fitness influencers that get mad when someone says they have good genetics started very much in shape and then put on muscle through hard work. That doesn’t change that you started with good genetics! So butthurt and for what

I poured it out. I don’t need alcohol to cope. Alcohol, for me, is to be enjoyed sparingly, not to be used as an escape.

That’s what weed is for.

I just poured a glass of wine as a coping mechanism for the first time in probably 6 years. I’m still staring at it, untouched, debating whether or not I want to drink it. I’m not sober, but I do drink only extremely rarely these days, and I’m not sure I’ll like where this one glass takes me.

Not fleeing: New report shows more wealthy residents in Mass., 2 years into 'millionaire's tax' Despite previous concerns, Massachusetts' "millionaire's tax" hasn't seemed to deter high-earnersΒ from continuing to live here, according to a new study from the Institute for Policy Studies.

MA put in a 4% millionaires tax 2 years ago, & the GOP said we'd miss revenue targets & millionaires would flee. MA collected TWICE the projected revenues, & the number of millionaires went UP 40%.

i really want everyone to read this because Dems are not going to win by default. new Republicans will run and they’ll say the right things to win. people will get fooled or maybe just agree.

Dems need real candidates up and down the ticket or we never escape this mess.

Not sure how to find joy in anything given the state of… everything.

A sad day. A sad and disturbing timeline to be living through.

The best time to cancel whatever this is supposed to be was when the idea was floated. The second best time to cancel whatever this is, is right now. This is deplorable @jimacosta.bsky.social

Please god don’t let Markey run again. Such a do-nothing Senator. His voting record is fine (especially lately) but an inconsequential back-bencher from a solidly blue state.

A screenshot from a Boston Herald column yesterday:

Michelle Wu might be headed in the right direction, but is Boston?

The city under Wu seems to be headed in a slow, downward spiral, with a downtown ghost town, transportation gridlock, priced-out Millennials fleeing to the suburbs, cracked sidewalks, needles in parks, random crime and streets overrun with rodents.
