We're proud to share that @mehranahmadlou.bsky.social, Senior Research Fellow at SWC, will join @oxforddpag.bsky.social as a Group Leader.

His new lab will study the neural basis of flexible behaviour and its relevance for neuropsychiatric disorders.

The first study from my postdoc is now up as a preprint πŸ‘πŸ» we combined #EEG and #VR in a cool task (feat. 🦊) finding that lateralised ongoing pain affects predictive responses to phasic pain on the same side of the body.

New to Blueksy so wanted to introduce myself - I'm a Psychology researcher broadly interested in body representation, multisensory perception, action, pain and sensation. I use a lot of VR and hand-tracking in my work - here's my most recent creation, of some very distorted embodied VR hands!
