Thank goodness for the library so I can get some work done.

Today (Monday): I call the power company to ask about the voice message I received and if I will indeed be without power today. Service agent says there is no record of a scheduled outage or any repairs in my neighborhood and it might be a scam message.

Here's a good one...

Friday: get a voice mail from someone saying that an electrical pedestal in my neighborhood will be repaired on Monday and I'll be without power. I didn't recogize the phone number so I wasn't sure it was legit....
