Political violence consumes everything it touches. We cannot have a liberal democracy when people try to end political disagreements with bullets.

UPDATE on the Border Patrol arrest outside of Newsom's press conference last week. A dozen Border Patrol agents descended on the streets outside his conference. They ended up arresting a delivery driver with no criminal record — then appear to have lied and claimed he was a drug dealer.
