🔔 Today marks Day 50 of the 2026 West Virginia Legislative Session, also known as Crossover Day.

Any bills that fail to advance out of their chamber of origin by the end of today are unlikely to see further movement for the remainder of the session (but, never say never!).

Rather than addressing underlying causes, Big Government Republicans in the West Virginia Legislature are making it a crime to be homeless on public property and overriding local policy options.

In 2025, floods devastated West Virginia communities.

Yesterday, Leader Hornbuckle successfully offered an amendment to add $25 million to the Flood Resiliency Trust Fund. House Dems have fought for this investment for years. Enough members of the supermajority joined us this time to get it done. ✅
