Trans people want to have sex and make art and talk about sports and do all the shit everyone likes, and instead we have to think about Nazi freaks all day. This sucks eggs.

Am finally part of a book group where I feel as though I fit in, so watch me proceed to alienate everyone in the group in a fit of social overexcitement as I failure to notice boundaries/cues.

THE BON MOT Outside the dressing room door lurks the Bon Mot. It is a charming figure in its shiny foil-covered tube, its body shimmering beneath a scrunched paper head, long ribbon arms waving. Ribbon legs emerge from its pouffed paper skirt. Inside its hollow chest, a witticism rattles, tied to a whimsical toy. Protruding from top and bottom of its cylindrical torso are strips impregnated with silver fulminate. Hourly, it feels compelled to grasp these and yank itself apart with a bang. The witticism tumbles out, is idly read by a passer-by, sniggered over, then is crumpled up and thrown away. The Bon Mot is in constant anguish over this indifference. Yet still it pieces itself together and manufactures more witticisms. Endlessly. For years. Its art transformed into a trinket. Its Heart was not amused.
