As far as nuclear, I think lawmakers blustered about it pre-election bc it's oddly the least polarizing resource now. Hope they take the results as a mandate to not run away from clean energy anymore

And if we want to build new energy QUICKLY, nuclear is not the best option either. The fastest SMR probably wouldn't come online for another 10+ years. Utility-scale solar + storage are by far the most practical ways to add new energy

Gov Murphy CV’d a bill that would require data centers to report their energy & water usage to the BPU, claiming a study is needed first.
