10.02.2026 19:29 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Digital drawing of a massive anthropomorphic shark rendered over a drone photo of a beach. She is lounging on her back with one leg bent and leaning slightly over the other with one arm supporting her head while the other rests on her slim belly. She has a bob of wily, vibrant blue hair held back in part by an orange visor. Long, shark-fin-shaped ears protrude from her azure locks. Her eyes are half-closed as she gazes at the beach full of tourists. They are like ants compared to her massive size. A thick shark tail is draped casually over a sea wall with the tip fading into a deep teal. It is late afternoon and she casts a long shadow onto the waves as water gently laps at her hips, limbs, and shoulders where they meet the ocean.
More giants at the beach! This time it's Nikki belonging to @ktqtpi.bsky.social enjoying a late afternoon in the waves ^-^ As an aside, I should probably update this commission type from "sketches" because I keep over-rendering them oops |D

I'm so sorry to hear this! Back when I was doing more work as a visual designer, I always tried to find a way to shoehorn your work into my mood boards. I hope someone snatches you up soon! ๐

Excited to be doing commissions again but my reach is *so* much smaller due to the fragmentation of everything now than it used to be on Twitter. But I'm also a much better artist now so here's hoping that helps!

03.02.2026 05:15 โ ๐ 52 ๐ 9 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0As an independent artist, it may be many years (if ever) before you get to create the work that you want. You will have clients who demand objectively bad things and you have to do it anyway. It takes resilience to stick with it until you find what works, but it's so worth it when you do :)
02.02.2026 23:06 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The thing about art as a business is that it will fundamentally change your relationship to art. Running an art business is not the same as maintaining a creative practice, and I need the latter to be fulfilled in life. Burnout prevention is SO important, especially in an industry that glorifies it

31.01.2026 17:23 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yeah I'm always sort of stunned at how cartoonishly evil some people are? 30.01.2026 01:28 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Digital character drawn over a photo taken from the window seat of a plane. The image depicts a massive anthropomorphic phoenix character striding through the ocean towards the plane. He is hundreds of feet tall, and the water only goes mid-way up his shins. One feathered arm is extended forward and holds a massive fireball. His orange face and yellow beak are fixed in a cocky smirk as he wades towards the viewer. Between the triple crests of spikey feathers that grow from each side of his head, a crest of firey black feathers runs from his forehead down the nape of his neck. He has a golden yellow belly and legs with orange feathers covering his back, thighs and arms. His tail and arms have vibrant red feathers around the sides, and firey bolts border the orange that flows down his thighs.
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's... both? This time it's @spicybirdboi.bird.gay who I'm sure means no harm with that fireball...
I tried pushing the atmospheric perspective with this one which was an interesting challenge given the complimentary colors.
