I realize that this is the least possible important thing, but how have late night hosts not created a flatulent parody character named “Vladimir Tootin’?”

I remember as a boy, going to my great-grandmother’s farm in Indiana. “Boy! Don’t you trample my blue patch with your filthy Protestant feet! The man from Gator Tonics & Liniments won’t take any blues what been touched by an Anglican!”

We put her in a home soon after. Blues were good, though.

Anyway, I ran five very slow kilometers today, so I’m gonna go find some French toast. Y’all be cool.

When I run (or do any sort of long-endurance activity; writing, building, etc) I get excited at the start and often burn out at the end, because OMG STARTING IS THE BEST. But I have the most success when I moderate my pace and remember the whole path.

It’s fine. I saw by touch, anyway.

(I am fine. After two cuts I realized my foolishness and corrected. Still. KING DIPSHIT OF SATURDAY.)

I am claiming King Dipshit today. I just used my jigsaw without eye protection, but don’t worry, I STILL LEANED IN REAL CLOSE-LIKE.

Thanks! I read once that color blind folks tend to choose really bright contrasting colors because they can see them.

Me realizing too late that I basically chose “Batman emblem background yellow” for this project.

This is not the least bit true. It’s almost certainly an exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, but that’s hard to say, especially when I’m coughing up all this bad air.

Whenever I resume running after a break, I remind myself that the post run coughing spasm is me getting the bad air out to make room for good air.

Two words for certain types of people, should you need them:

microlipet: one who gets all worked up over nothing.

struthonian: the person who buries their head in the sand and says ‘Problem? What problem?’.
