There is something so nice and important about helping someone develop their skills, to help them progress towards their lifes goals and ambitions. And it makes me as the teacher a better person, too. AI can't do that.

This is what I always say about programming as well: Yes, you can use AI to do entry level programming. But correcting the dumb things a machine does is nothing to the honor and fulfillment of teaching a real human being skills that will help them through the rest of their lifes.

Wir als trans Menschen erleben gerade einen nie gekannten Aufschwung von Gewalt und Ausgrenzung der oft unwidersprochen bleibt oder sogar von faschistischen Feminismus-Cosplayer*innen noch beklatscht wird.

women are not inherently more mature. we are socialised to be more mature. the world would not automatically be a better place if "women were in power". the world would be a better place if responsible behaviour would not be genderised and instead taught to all of us.

Schauen wir uns mal Diskriminierung und Gewalt zwischen Geschlechtern an.

A small +1 on this from me. Crystal's article correctly notes that the cross-nation aggregation that The Guardian used in their "oooh scary genzzzzz" summary was an absurd and meaningless thing to do. I am unsure if that article was malicious or incompetent but either way, it was misleading.
