This memorial commemorates the Jewish Deaf victims of #WW2 and can be found on
Hortusplantsoen, Amsterdam.

From 1928 to 1976, a school for deaf people stood at Hortusplantsoen 2.

Trying trace the service history of this chap and getting confused with the TR Battallions. His service number was TR/10/75701 but he then went into the MGC 103rd Coy. Did the Battalions of the TR 10 Division train recruits for the MGC? @1418research.bsky.social can you help? TIA

Between 1942 and 1945, Titchwell beach in Norfolk was used by the Royal Tank Regiment as a firing range.
Hidden in the sand for decades are the remains of two Covenanter A13 Mark III / Cruiser Mark V tanks. Not a lot left of them today.

Elizabeth Frisby was one of those responsible, and her father Joseph was the chairman of the following club at the time. She went on to become an Alderman and a JP in Leicester.
