This was deeply described by the bullying shown in the movie. Those scenes were brutal to watch, especially the bathroom scene at the beginning of the movie.
What always baffles me, is the fact that members of LGBTQ+ community have to face discrimanation and hate for feelings that they always had.

The scene's in the movie play a lot with intemacy but at the same time, a distance is kept between the two protagnist's, delivering a feeling of secrecy and inacceptance, that their relationship implies. What also was interesting to see, was how the society percieved homosexuality.

But at the same time I had to learn and im still learning about the hardships that people with a different sexual interest have to go through. That's also the reason why I enjoyed the movie "Your name engraved Herein" a lotm because it portays the struggle that gay men face in a intense way.

As a heterosexual man, it is not easy to understand with what homosexual men have to deal with to feel accepted by others and to accept themselves.
Personally, it never occured to me that Homosexuality is a "unnatural" thing especially because science disproves this statement.

This Korean domination in StarCraft Esports is so unique that one country is dominating such a niche Esport game is very fascinating to me especially since StarCraft 2 came out came out in 2010 but the original Starcraft still persisted because of the huge player base that korea provided.

In Korea though, StarCraft is one of the favorite competitive Games. Star Craft: Brood War is an expansion of the original and was released in 1998. Of the total tournament Price pools of roughly 7.6 Million US dollars, Korean Players have won 6.8 Million US dollars in price money.

But one game in particular is standing out. This game is called StarCraft. What makes Starcraft so distinctive is that in the dominating Esport force are FPS(CounterStrike&Valorant)and MOBA's(League of Legends&Dota2). Starcraft is an RTS(Real Time Strategy), which is not prominent in Esport at all.

In the last years Esport has become more popular and gained an opportunity for growth. While League of Legends and Counter Strike persist to be one of the biggest games to have professional Esport competition, newer games like Valorant have reached big fanbases.

But of course it has small anecdotes to the original Karate Kid movie but it creates a new story ideas but the base construction of the plot is pretty similar to the original one.

The movie itself includes one of the best fight scenes ever. Jackie Chan defends Jaden Smith against his bullies by just blocking and deflecting the strikes. he does not use active force against the children and only defends, but outplays the bullies in such a manner that they are hurting themselves

teacher to show no mercy and to use their learned ability in a wrong and brutal manner, while the american boy (Jaden Smith) learns from his teacher (Jackie Chan) how to use "real" Kung Fu instead of the brutal one the antagonist teaches the children.

The reason why I like the film that much is the message and the fight choreography.
The message of the film shows a young american boy in a completely new enviorment and culture, who gets bullied and wants to fight back but doesn't know how. The kids who bully him, where thaught by their Kung Fu

The most influencal Martial Arts movie for me as a kid was Karate Kid (2010) with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. Of course it has Orientalist Influence, such as the mystic representation of Kung Fu and Chinese Medicine Practice, but it also portrays China in a new and modern fashion.

To counteract this "problem" Chinese Boys Bootcamps are seen to counteract this problem by making "weak" boys "strong" again. Those Bootcamps are focusing on body strength, discipline and comradery. Which perfectly aligns with the idea of men having the duty to sacrifice themselves for their country

This shows the overwhelming dominance of men that have power in China. So naturally anything that threatens the idea of a "strong man" in power, also challenges the current patriarchal structure of the ones who are in power. Which leads the government to declare feminine masculinity a crisis

Chinas political system is set up in a strong patriarchal structure. With roughly 48,9% of women that are included in the Chinese population, less than 8% are holding senior leadership positions in the country. If we look at the 36 key leadership positions in the CCP only 8 are occupied by women.

The rise of feminine masculinity in China is targeting the patriarchal structure of the CCP and the nationalistic ideal of strong and brave men sacrificing themselves for the 'greater good' of their home country.

To get into a little fact check. The sales value of roasted coffee beans in South korea changed from 259 billion won in 2014 to 1.320 billion won, so the sales quintipled in just 10 years.
But what suprised is the comparison of the revenue between the German and Korean coffee market.

In Germany for Example, a lot of Coffee drinking is happening a lot at Home as well, so a lot of Germans have coffee machines in their houses as well. But in Korea I get the experience through the amount of coffee shops, that consumption of coffee happens outside of the own house.

The Coffee Culture in Korea surprised me a lot. As a German, Coffee is a well consumed beverage as well, especially in the morning and the need for professional coffee machines is rising as well, but when I arrived in Korea, the amount of coffee shops was really sticking out to me.
