Definitely restart, but remember it’s a different game. You can take things much slower and don’t have the pressure of a shrinking field

There will more than likely be more maps, more characters, many more bosses, and more modes of play (single player, 2 player coop, etc). I played every session that I could, and by the end I understood the loop and was having a ton of fun

Mechanically, the final boss was exciting, as seemingly randomly it would split into 3 separate dogs, whereas the combined form had access to a massive whip sword with a huge area of effect.
Still a little disappointed that I can't queue with my friend, but maybe the next sessions will allow it.

What bosses did you fight in the leadup?

To the 2nd boss, we encountered the fell omen, morgott! A brutal battle that left us running and afraid, but now we know the kind of opposition we’re going to face. Really excited for the next match, and overall enjoying the combat and new mechanics. Now I just need to play with my fwends

Alright, I’ve played through 2 matches now. First match saw my team die relatively quickly to the first night boss, but second match we faced a creature I had never seen, a centipede monstrosity. We beat it and proceeded to the next night, leveling up and finding better gear.

Never mind, I have just been alerted by my secretary Tuna that multiplayer passwords (the only way currently to play with specific people) has been disabled for this session. RIP to playing with my friend

Lil reminder for those looking for the #EldenRing #Nightreign network test schedule. Fromsoftware has already mentioned potentially adding more sessions to make up for the difficulty in today's first session, fingers crossed we get more!

#EldenRing #Nightreign #fromsoftware dropped this not too long ago, seems like we might see some more playtest sessions popping up to make up for the poor performance from this first test. I'm still pretty excited about getting to try Nightreign before the release, but what about you?

Aaaand the playtest session is over, and while I was only able to get one match in, I'm very excited for the potential of this game. Looking forward to the next session!

In the training area, it seems that level 15 is the highest you can achieve, maybe the highest in a single run. That said, this is a scaled down network test so I wouldn’t be surprised if you can go further in consecutive runs
